Okay, I'm going to keep this short sice I'm only typing with one hand. While working on a garden project, I cut my hand with a table saw. I didn't lose any fingers, which seems to be everyone's first assumption. But I broke two fingers and badly cut a third. It was my left hand, and I'm a righty, so thar's good. But due to this injury, I've been spnding even LESS time on the computer than I did before (is that possible?!). BUT it has limited the kinds of activities I can do, and one of the things I can still do is draw. But I can't type, so I rarely come to my computer unless my task can be done one handed.
List of things I csn't do
:- play piano
- type (all writing projects are on hold, Extras included)
- home reno
- martial artes this fall
- open a jar
- drive
- cut up steak
List of things I discovered I can still do with one hand, miraculously
:- draw
- play my gamecube (v. slowly, so forget SSBM

)
- eat ramen with chopsticks, but w/o my spoon
- open my antibiotics bottle if I use my feet to help
- change clothes by myself (thank goodness!)
- turn pages in a book
- operate a rowing machine
I am making lots of new discoveries of my one-handed abilities. It's amazing. I'm not in pain (most of the time), which is an added bonus. But sorry that I've been idle and am going to be even more idle. And sorry I haven't been answering messages/commenting on drawings of ppl I watch/leaving comments on journals/etc. I've kinda been indisposed.
So, to save time:
~
Art-people: I really liked all your sketches and I'll tell you in person what I think, b/c typing it on each picture would take me a very long time.

spinelquartz: Oh gods, I'm sorry you got the swine flu. I hope you're better now. See you around campus, I hope.

That's all, folks! And it turned out a lot longer than I thought it would. Meh.
